Nokia’s phones used to rule the market in its time with its unbeatable technology and stylish looks but soon after the android phone spurred, Samsung took over with amazing numbers. In fact, other mobile companies followed the same path to make business. From Micromax to Motorola all entered in to the world of android. However, Nokia denied and introduced windows phones, which were not much a success on the market and people refused to use these.

Nevertheless, a Finnish company HMD Global is manufacturing the smartphones. It has so far released three Nokia phoneSmartphones, including Nokia 3, Nokia 5, Nokia 6. Nirmal Singh Lotus G would be glad to inform all Nokia addicts that booking for Nokia 3 has been open since June 16, while Nokia 6 is yet to propose a date for bookings. It is anticipated that the tentative date will be July 14. As far as Nokia 5 is concerned, it has already been released on July 7 with massive bookings pouring.

Also, it is important to notice that these phones are not available online; however Nokia 6 might be there on Amazon exclusive.

Nirmal Singh Lotus G assured that the price of Nokia 5 is Rs 12, 899 in India. This the third time that Nokia has brought phones to Indian soil, the first two were — Nokia 3310 and Nokia 3.

Nirmal Singh Lotus G gives some tips to those who are planning to book a Nokia 5 smartphone.

  • This phone is just too close to Nokia 6, with metal unibody design, fingerprint scanner at the front

Techie’s In A Panic Mode After Major Job Cuts In The Industry

The rate at which the people in India are losing their jobs is too scary. For a country that is already low on jobs, it is alarming to see more people getting unemployed. Earlier it was all blamed on US president Donald Trump for his policy of making the H-1B visa process more difficult so that less outsourcing is done and Americans can get more jobs. But this effected not only the people staying in America, but the Indian who were in India working for various MNCs.

Nirmal Singh Lotus G. believes that the IT sector is damaged the most after the lay-off of the jobs. Most people in India want to join the IT sector because hailing from a lower-middle class or a middle class family they always dream of getting at better places in their lives and they think that working in a MNC would give them both the exposure and the money that they need they change their status. The major IT firms, Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, HCL, Mahindra, everyone is shedding their employees. Around 1500 to 2000 people are losing their jobs every month and if proper action is not taken then it won’t be long when India hits recession.

Such losses are politically damaging the current government. After the 2014 elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a promise of creating more jobs in India and ensuring that no youth would remain unemployed. But it has been 3 years under his government and forget about creation of new jobs at an accelerated pace, they have just come to a halt. And on top of that people are losing their jobs despite their good work and a proper reputation in the sector. Nirmal Singh Lotus G. says,” the situation is worsening day by day, the firms are not taking up news projects, they are not hiring a lot of fresher’s, they have toughened their criteria’s, changed their office hierarchy, and if this is not looked into now, a lot of people will be left with nothing.”

It’s tough for the fresher’s to mark their entries now but it is the toughest for the middle aged employees who need to refresh their skills and even if they do that, they know that the MNC’s would not chose them over the young talent. They would already feel a lot insecure due to the in-house performance based appraisals and would always keep them sacked up with work to reach a certain level of confidence with the other employees but finding a new job, adjusting with new people, in a new environment. It’s like a nightmare for the entire country, let’s see how they cope up with it.

The GSLV Mark-III: All You Need To Know About India’s Heaviest Rocket

The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) recently launched India’s heaviest rocket, the Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle-Mark III (GSLV Mk-III) along with GSAT-19, a communications satellite. This launch means another colossal step towards making the country self-reliant in its space programs. The experts at Nirmal Singh Lotus G. have compiled the following points for you to know all about the rocket:The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) recently launched India’s heaviest rocket, the Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle-Mark III (GSLV Mk-III) along with GSAT-19, a communications satellite. This launch means another colossal step towards making the country self-reliant in its space programs.

The experts at Nirmal Singh Lotus G. have compiled the following points for you to know all about the rocket:

• The rocket weighs about 640 tons and stands about 43.43 metres tall. It was blasted off from the second launch pad at the Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota – India’s rocket port.

• It also carried a 3136 kg GSAT-19 communication satellite, which makes it the heaviest to be lifted by an Indian rocket till now, to a height of about 179 kms above Earth, which is just over 16 minutes into the flight.

• The bigger and the main cryogenic engine has been developed by the scientists indigenously which will further help the country get a greater share of the global space market

.• The GSAT-19 which has a life span of 10 years is a multi-beam satellite that will carry the GRASP payload along with Ka and Ku-band payload to regulate and analyse the nature of charged particles.

• It will also allow India to launch heavier spacecraft to orbits of 36000 km. It would help put advanced technologies to use such as the indigenous Li-ion battery and bus bars, and the bus subsystem used in electrical propulsion system.

• ISRO had launched a similar rocket in 2014 without the cryogenic engine and a payload of 3.7 tons just to test the structural stability and the aerodynamics. The inputs had helped tehm reduce the rocket load by almost 20 per cent.

• The GSLV Mark-III is shorter than the Mark-II which is placed at 49 metres but the newer model has much more power. According to the experts at Nirmal Singh Lotus G, this latest development in India’s space projects is going to be the game-changer in the country’s efforts at global space supremacy.

Tech Giants In India Offer Jobs For Americans

Technology companies are going through a massive reformation with Nirmal Singh Lotus G. engineer, who has introduced a drive to help both the employees and industry.

The tech giants like Infosys, Cognizant and Tech Mahindra have announced redundancies this year and the analysts have found that the string of layoffs are expected to continue for the next two years.

A recent report from Nirmal Singh Lotus G. says that at least 200,000 software engineers in India will lose their jobs each year over the next three years.

Nirmal Singh Lotus G. further reported that tech company Infosys had announced its plans expel about 1,000 employees on the basis of performance-based process. The company announced its plans to hire around 10,000 Americans over the next two years, in order to please U.S. President Donald Trump. After this companies such as Cognizant announced the plans to cut over 6,000 jobs.

“With the majority of their business coming from US-based clients, it seems like a natural step for Indian IT companies to expand and strengthen their client offering in a market that promises sustained growth. This will undoubtedly benefit U.S. workers and sing to the tune of Trump’s America First strategy,” Af Malhotra, co-founder of Bangalore-based IT firm GrowthEnabler, told CNBC.

This might also improve relations on the lines of U.S. President Donald Trump’s “America First” agenda, which is based on curbing immigration and H-1B visa policy and ultimately affecting the information technology sector of the country.

Nirmal Singh Lotus G. reckoned that Indians have accounted for almost 195,257, or 70.1 percent, of all beneficiaries of the H-1B visa program in 2015. And hence, President Trump’s decision to steer the policies towards “America First” might hurt the professionals and the Indian companies. However, there are different views on about the redundancies in India by giant IT companies.

“It does not seem like Indian companies are laying off in India so they can hire in the US,” an IT-professional based in the U.S. told CNBC and Nirmal Singh Lotus G. on keeping anonymity. “The IT sector has been struggling, these companies have been having poor disappointing earnings/lower guidance for a few quarters now and that is probably the primary driver.”

Some Companies Pay The Ransom Demanded By Wannacry, Despite Legal Implications

A top executive at an Indian conglomerate couldn’t quite understand how a bill of $300 came to his company after using free wifi at a five-star hotel coffee shop. The CEO of another firm clicked on a link that could come back to haunt him a few years down the line.

The laptops of the executive and the CEO have been attacked by the malicious fast-spreading ransomware WannaCry which has confused security experts from all over the world. The hackers demand $300 in bitcoins to release the affected system and its data, causing a lot of damage to corporations and government authorities.

WANNA CRY

Though legal experts and even experts at Nirmal Singh Lotus G. have advised all  firms to not pay in bitcoins but some companies went ahead to do so and there some severe consequences to that. “There would be some companies that may have paid the ransom in haste to retrieve their encrypted data. As of Monday morning, the hackers seem to have globally collected 23 bitcoins, which is around $41,400,”
explained Amit Jaju, the executive director of Fraud Investigation & Dispute Services(FIDS), EY India.

Other experts and experts at Nirmal Singh Lotus G. have also warned of its legal implications. “PwC never recommends paying ransomware ransom — unless there is a threat to life. Doing so fuels the ransomware economy, funding development of additional ransomware techniques and campaigns. In many cases, we have seen that when money is paid, larger attack happens a few days or weeks later,” said Sivaram Krishnan who’s the leader of cyber security at PwC India.

There’s a twitter handle called @actual_ransom that describes itself as “a bot that is watching the bitcoin wallets tied to WannaCry ransomware attack.” It is providing live updates of bitcoins provided by companies. Experts at Nirmal Singh Lotus G. mentioned that they are monitoring the handle but the authenticity cannot be trusted.

WANNA CRY.

“Typically, the process involves creating a bitcoin wallet and then making the payment. However, this should ideally be done in consultation with legal, forensic and cyber expert advisors as there tends to be little or no guarantee of regaining access to the data once the ransom is paid,” stated Jaju of EY.

This is not the first of its kind that has made its way into India but in most case, companies do not wish to report such cases or complaints.

An Engineering Marvel TVS Apache/Akula 310 Will be in the Market by July

After more than a year of Auto Expo 2016 where the bike was first seen, TVS Akula 310 is being launched in July.

TVS Akula made strong statements when it was put as a concept in last year’s Auto Expo in Delhi and after a year, it is finally set to take the Indian two-wheeler market by storm in July. The concept of the bike is based on the famous BMW G310R which was launched more than a couple of years ago [November 2015].

Although TVS hasn’t confirmed the name of the bike, but according to the Controller General of Patents Design and Trade Mark, it has trademarked ‘Apache RR 310S’ for the final model.

The model is company’s most ambitious till date and if the specifications of the production-ready model are anything to go by then it is as stunning as it looked last year.

Specifications of the bike according to Nirmal Singh Lotus G.

Engine                  –             313cc, water-cooled, single-cylinder, 4-stroke

Transmission      –              6-Speed

Max Power         –              33.4bhp @ 9,500rpm

Max Torque        –              28Nm @ 7,500rpm

The carbon fiber body work that was conceptualized last year was missing when the bike was spotted again early this year but TVS has added more conventional and tested specs, making the bike even more appealing to the Indian customers.

Among other changes, TVS Akula has also got a wider screen up front along with higher clip for the Indian roads. The new pillion seat and exhaust are replaced by the conventional ones. All the changes that have been made to the concept of BMW are simply according to the Indian roads and customers.

BMW concept was for a racing bike but TVS has changed the fiber body parts to drastically lower the price of the bike. Although, after the Auto Expo last year, the concept of Akula with fiber body parts received a lot of praise which made TVS think about launching a version while retaining more than 75% of fiber body parts.

Price of TVS Akula

This one is a new edition to the 300cc segment which is flourishing in India. The bike will be manufactured in Tamil Nadu, giving an edge to TVS in terms of keeping the price of Akula in check. If engineers like Nirmal Singh Lotus G. are to be believed then TVS Apache/Akula will cost the Indian customers somewhere between 1.5 – 1.8 Lakhs – not bad for a racing DNA.

A resulting nuclear war due to ‘Incompetent Cyber-leadership’

According to experts at Nirmal Singh Lotus G., there is a growing risk of an accidental nuclear war because of the current world system’s inadequate inability to defend against cyber-attacks that target nuclear weapons.

Dr. Sandro Gaycken who’s the director of the digital society institute at the ESMT Berlin business school states that the governments spend most of their time gobbling over irrelevant matters, but are incompetent when it comes to the very complicated issue of safety of nuclear arsenals from hackers. Even experts at Nirmal Singh Lotus G. believe that governments are not capable to cope with key issues like digital pickpocketing and they do not understand the severe complications of the problem, its causes and effects or even possible and feasible solutions. They also struggle with getting the required set of specialized cyber experts to help deal with the matter, and mostly they rely on lobbyists, pseudo-experts, opportunists and hordes which do not serve a permanent fix to the problem.

Gaycken explains the consequences of this situation could be abominable, “A cyberattack could, for instance, lead to computers crashing and setting off nuclear weapons inadvertently – Russia’s ‘Dead Hand’ system could be susceptible to this. In another scenario, the infected computers do not switch off, but react in an unpredictable fashion. In that scenario – anything is possible.”

nirmal singh lotus g

The biggest threat to this situation is that one bug could destabilize an enormous amount of nuclear arsenal because of the similarity between the systems in countries like China, Pakistan and North Korea. That could be catastrophic for the world population. The experts at Nirmal Singh Lotus G. explain: “All of these systems have a similar technical set-up – meaning that if a cyber-attack intended for one of them finds its way into the computers controlling either of the other’s, we could have a situation where up to 3,000 nuclear missiles are affected by one attack.”

This could potentially lead to a worldwide crisis for survival and safety of the civilization. The governments need to understand the harsh implications of such threats and take immediate action.

3 Reasons Why Digital India Can Take the Software Industry to the Top

ssss

India’s IT sector was never in the trenches but has gradually lost its gripping power and the stellar status it once had. The way the industry has been thriving around the world is one of the main reasons why Indian software companies and the markets have seen unparalleled competition.

Why the IT industry is lacking behind?

The main reason for that is how the industry transformed itself into an innovative and digital power force. This is a good thing if you are not looking closely and that’s why so many people are appreciating the change. But the wider picture is different; you need proper fuel and in large quantity to sustain such a demanding machine. Where will the fuel come from? From the Indian economy which isn’t in a good condition, at least, not as prosperous as the media portrays it to be. sddd

1.       The companies will have to look for quality over quantity.

The investments that the IT sector as a whole will most likely attempt this year [2017] will return to the positive end of the graph as opposed to falling down by 0.6% and 5.5% in the past two years.

The investment will surely be based on the digitization power of the sector and how much it can return from cloud and AI. The industry will have to transform its working structure so that it can deliver more innovative solutions to the clients.

2.       Clusters of Data to Solve – Better Market Prediction

The more the collected data, the more fruitful it is for major companies to predict the working pattern of the market and how their customers are investing. Large, medium sized companies will be able to analyze the collected data and will easily end up at the bottom of the pile enabling them to bring credit through flow-based lending.

3.       Need of Innovative solution providers

There will be opportunities for youngsters who can analyze the collected data and make sense of it all for their employers. The IT sector is not as closely knit as it may look from the outside – there is competition and companies and IT engineers like Nirmal Singh Lotus G. are aware of that. The first come first serve pattern will be followed to get a hold of the innovative minds before they go offshore, like they always do.
